i searched the internet about this and all i found is that the demo reel should not be longer then two minutes, but there is no tips on should models be textured or not, and what exactly should be in it. Everyone who is hiring wants outstanding demo reel, that seems reasonable, but what should be in demo reel lasting two minutes so it can look outstanding and get you a job? There is very high amount of requests for animators in the game industry how hard is it to get a job in that area?

Demonstrate that you can animate. Demonstrate that you can do the job.

That could be a 2-minute animated short, where some cartoon character runs through a series of comedic events. Or it could be a series of animated clips ranging from dragons in flight to insects living in a high-rise apartment to anthropomorphic vegetables singing songs on a pirate ship.

The clip is meant as a strong piece of evidence that you can do the job. Use your best judgement to decide what that means for you.
